Angharad (Harri) & Elliot live in London but fell in love whilst they were both studying at Swansea University in South Wales. They have so many fond memories of their time in Swansea that they felt it was the perfect place to get married. I first met Harri & Elliot via Skype as it was not possible to meet up because of the distance. From our first conversation I knew we were a perfect match for each other. We arranged to meet up again when they were back in Swansea so we could go over all their ideas and timing to make sure that their wedding day ran smoothly and that they would have the best day to remember.

It was July 27 2019 and bridal preps were fully underway at Morgans Hotel. As usual when bridal preps are going on it means there are loads of bridesmaids running around, hair being done and make up being applied, the usual chaotic morning. But in the middle of all this chaos Harri was calm and composed. Once she was transformed into the beautiful Disney princess she wanted to be she went off to marry her prince at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Elliot and the boys had being getting ready at a near by hotel and looked sharp in their pink suits and colourful waistcoats and were waiting at the church for Harri to arrive.

After the service we headed off with the bridal party to have a few photos in the grounds of Swansea University and then drove back to meet all the guests at Brangwyn Hall for the reception. Harri really wanted some photos on the beach and had planned to drive to Bracelet Bay but time got away from us and the sun was setting quick. So I whisked them away from their guests to have a few photos on the beach at Swansea Bay and I’m glad I did because we just had a few minutes before the sun disappeared behind the hills. With the photos in the bag we headed back for the rest of the speeches and the party.

This has to be one of the most colourful weddings I have ever photographed and a first for the groomsmen in pink suits :-). A big shout out to Jon from Cross Jones Photography for helping me out on the day, I couldn’t have done it without you. So enjoy I hope you enjoy the highlights from Harri and Elliots day and as you will see Harri didn’t stop smiling all day – The perfect fairytale wedding.
