Hi, I’m Steve Wheller, the photographer behind Art by Design Photography. For over 20 years, I’ve had the privilege of photographing weddings and special moments for couples across South Wales and beyond. My passion is capturing genuine emotions and the natural story of your day, creating photographs that you’ll treasure for years to come.
Steve is an absolute genius. If we could do it all over again, and only hire one person/vendor for our day, it would be Steve 1000 times over.

Dogs, travel, and spontaneous nights out — that’s my kind of balance. I’m just as happy exploring new places with my dogs as I am people-watching with a good whiskey in hand. You’ll usually find me staying active (martial arts, cycling, hiking, long walks) or chilling with a great book, fishing, or watching a sci-fi/fantasy film.
