Tommy & Ellie’s Wedding at Manorbier Castle, West Wales
Some wedding days just fit their setting perfectly, and Tommy and Ellie’s celebration at Manorbier Castle was one of those rare, magical matches. With ancient stone walls, sweeping sea views, and the wild beauty of the Pembrokeshire coast all around.
A Coastal Castle Morning
The day began quietly and beautifully at Castle Lodge, a charming house just a short walk from Manorbier Castle itself. Ellie spent the morning getting ready there with her wedding party.
Getting Married at Manorbier Castle
Manorbier Castle is a dream location for couples who want history, drama, and the outdoors all rolled into one. Nestled in West Wales, it offers a unique blend of medieval architecture and seaside scenery. Ceremonies can take place within the castle grounds or in the chapel which is part of the castle itself.
A Feast in the Tipi
After the ceremony, celebrations continued with a wedding feast in a tipi set within the castle grounds. The tipi added a relaxed, festival-like feel to the day, perfectly balancing the grandeur of the castle with warmth and informality.
A Walk to the Beach
One of the absolute highlights of the day came before the evening party began. All the guests headed out together for a walk down to Manorbier Beach, just a stone’s throw from the castle. Fresh sea air, shoes kicked off and umbrella’s to keep dry from the rain.
An Evening to Remember
After the beach walk, everyone returned to the castle grounds ready to celebrate into the evening. With the party kicking off back at the tipi.Their wedding at Manorbier Castle wasn’t just beautiful; it was thoughtful, relaxed, and fun. Proving that West Wales, with its castles and coastline, is truly something special.
