Lorna & Jamie | Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel Wedding Photography

Lorna and Jamie got married on May 6th 2016 at Cwrt Bleddyn Hotel & Spa a a fairy-tale 16th Century manor located on 50 stunning acres and featuring both historic charm and modern amenities. The day started off with bridal preps at Lorna’s house. The weather was being kind to me so I able to get some lovely shots of Lorna in her gorgeous wedding dress in her parents garden. I then headed off to the hotel capture Jamie and the best men having a few drinks to calm the nerves. Whilst the guests took their seats and Jamie waited nervously at the front, Lorna walked down the aisle with a very proud father. After a lovely ceremony (A couple of mistakes during vows said by the bride – say no more), we then headed off outside for drinks, natural photographs of the wedding party and the standard group photos.

I always like to take my couples for a walk around the grounds so the can have a ‘time out’ from the wedding party and say hello to each other. I like to take this opportunity to capture natural and intimate moments between the happy couple and it also gives the couple the chance to breathe and take in their day and each other. After the portraits everyone headed backing for food and speeches. Once the food has been eaten and the speeches digested we took advantage of the dimming light for some creative wedding portraits. It was then time for the first dance and disco. As a wedding photographer you get to share and be part of a couples special day. You get to watch an experience those little moments that will never happen again and provide your couples with memories that they look back on forever. It was my honour to cover Lorna and Jamie’s wedding at Cwrt Bleddyn as they are such a down to earth and lovely couple and I wish them all the best in the future.
