Ffion and Tom got married on December 28th at Llantrisant Parish Church and their reception was held at the Vale Resort Hotel. I was recommended to them by their friends Esthea and Ben whose wedding I had covered earlier in the year. This was a late winter wedding just after Christmas and was lovely to see that the church still had their display of christmas trees on display from their festival. The weather was bright and not to chilly so we were able to capture some beautiful sunset portraits outside the church before going to the wedding reception at The Vale Hotel.

The Vale Resort is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious wedding venues in South Wales set in over 650 acres of rolling South Wales countryside. As this was a winter wedding the light had already gone once we got the hotel but this didn’t stop this wonderful couple stepping out into the freezing cold night to let me capture natural and creative wedding portraits. We soon got back in from the cold and joined the party. A Back to the future wedding cake, an amazing band, an amazing couple and christmas trees, what more could you want.
