Hayley & Andy’s Festival-Style Wedding at Manorbier Castle, Pembrokeshire
If I could sum up Hayley and Andy’s day in one word, it would be fun. Their festival-style wedding at Manorbier Castle in Pembrokeshire had everything: sunshine, sea views, garden games, a tipi party, and even a tug of war!
A Coastal Castle with All the Charm
As a Manorbier Castle wedding photographer, I’ll never get tired of this venue. Set right on the Pembrokeshire coast, it’s got this amazing mix of history and coastal charm — think stone walls, wildflowers, and ocean breeze. Hayley and Andy tied the knot in the castle’s beautiful little chapel, and it was such an intimate and emotional ceremony.
Of course, the star of the show (aside from the newlyweds!) was Brian, their adorable border terrier, who proudly strutted down the aisle as the ring bearer. Tail wagging, chest puffed out — he absolutely nailed it.
Festival Vibes and Lawn Games
After the “I do’s,” it was time to kick back and let the good times roll. Hayley and Andy had gone for a relaxed, festival-style vibe, complete with garden games, colourful bunting, and guests chilling in the sunshine with drinks in hand. The atmosphere was pure happiness.
Then came one of my favourite moments — the tug of war! Picture this: the bride, groom, and all their guests split into teams and went head-to-head on the castle lawn. Suits, dresses, and laughter everywhere. It was brilliant chaos and totally summed up the carefree energy of the day.
A Sunset Stroll to the Beach
In the evening, as the light turned that dreamy golden colour, we took a walk down to Manorbier Beach for some couple portraits. The sea breeze, the cliffs, the soft sand, it was Pembrokeshire perfection. Hayley and Andy got a few quiet moments together, barefoot by the waves, before heading back to party.
Partying in the Tipi
Back at the castle grounds, the tipi was glowing with fairy lights, music pumping, and everyone ready to hit the dance floor. It was one of those nights where the laughter didn’t stop, shoes were abandoned early, and the dance moves got progressively wilder.
Honestly, Hayley and Andy’s Pembrokeshire wedding at Manorbier Castle was an absolute joy to photograph — relaxed, full of personality, and overflowing with love (and a fair bit of friendly tug-of-war rivalry).
