Secret Wedding Proposal Corran Resort & Spa | West Wales
I have photographed plenty of engagement shoots where the couples are already engaged but I have never had the honour to photograph the actual proposal. Well when Jabed got in touch me and told me about his plans to propose to his girlfriend I thought it was one of the sweetest things to ask. Jabed planned to ask Shreya to marry him whilst they away for a spa retreat at the Corran Resort & Spa in Carmarthenshire, West Wales.
Proposal Story
Jabed meticulously planned everything. He decorated the room, put champagne on ice and booked two spa treatments for that afternoon. When Shreya was having her spa treatment she thought Jabed was next door having his but Jabed was actually busy decorating their room with as many fairy lights as he could find (Shreya loves fairy lights). Once he had finished setting the scene he went to meet Shreya and pretended to have had his spa treatment by changing into a bath robe. So he brought her back to the room and surprised her with a very intimate and heartfelt proposal. (Actual proposal photos not shown as they are very personal to the couple).
Once Shreya had got over the shock and said YES (phew!) they had a glass of champagne to celebrate, got changed and I took them for a natural photoshoot around the grounds of the resort. The sun was setting, young love was in the air and this fabulous couple couldn’t stop smiling. It was an absolute privilege to witness and record such an intimate moment and I wish them lots of happiness in the future and I hope this is just the start of their journey and would love to be be there to capture the many memories that they will create together.
