Abi and James were originally getting married in July 2020 but the pandemic struck and all plans went on hold and they postponed to June 2021. By then they were hoping life would be back to normal and they would have the day that they had planned for. But mother nature put a spanner in the works and wasn’t letting go that easy. Weddings were back on but masks were still the fashion item of the year and we were told or advised by the government ‘Not to dance’ and to keep socially distanced. Like a lot of couples, this didn’t stop Abi and James from getting married. So they scaled down their day to the ceremony and wedding breakfast and had a smaller family party in the evening.
Abi got ready in the morning at the Cider House which is a 2 bedroom apartment located across the road from The Bear Hotel in the centre of Cowbridge. The ceremony took place at The Bear Hotel in the Georgian ballroom and their wedding breakfast in the St Quentin’s suite. Their wedding may have been scaled down but it didn’t stop these two from having a wonderful day with their friends and family. Take a look at the highlights of their wedding at the Bear Hotel and get in touch if you’re looking for a wedding photographer in Cowbridge or the Vale of Glamorgan to capture the story of your day.
