Shannon & Alex’s Twilight Wedding at Tretower Court and Castle, Brecon Beacons
There’s something truly magical about photographing weddings in the Brecon Beacons, and Shannon and Alex’s twilight wedding at Tretower Court and Castle, just outside Crickhowell, was one of those days that felt straight out of a fairytale.
Set against the ancient stone walls and timeless beauty of Tretower Court and Castle, their ceremony was filled with golden light and emotion. As a Tretower Court wedding photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful scene — soft evening light spilling over the courtyard, historic architecture surrounding the couple, and their closest family and friends watching as they said their vows.
After the ceremony, we took a short drive to Llangorse Lake for some breathtaking couple portraits. With the water reflecting the pastel tones of twilight and the mountains of the Brecon Beacons in the distance, it was the perfect spot for Shannon and Alex to slow down and just enjoy a few quiet moments together.
Their celebrations continued at The Manor Hotel in Crickhowell, a gorgeous local venue, where they took their cute sausage dogs for walk in the stunning grounds.
