It was so nice to be back photographing a wedding at Llechwen Hall. Llechwen Hall is a luxurious Country House Hotel situated 20 minutes just outside Cardiff in South Wales.  It is becoming one of the biggest unkept secrets in the heart of the Cynon Valley.

Dave & Emily married on 10th August 2019. The day started off with bridal preps at Emily’s mums house and as soon as I walked through the door I was made to feel welcome with an offer of a cup of tea. I politely declined as I never drink on the job :-).  Make-up was applied, hair was put in place and the girls all glammed up ready for an amazing day ahead.

It’s always nice to shoot at a venue that I haven’t been for years but when the weather doesn’t want to play ball then I knew it was going to be a challenge.  Did it rain? – Yes, Was it really windy? – Yes, Did anyone care? – No. David & Emily didn’t care about the weather. They enjoyed every moment of their day. Braving the weather for outside shots around the grounds, partied hard into the night and drank tequila shots off a friends bald head (not sure why).
