Laura and Jonny got married at the Llanhamlach Church a stone’s throw away from Peterstone Court which is located in the Brecon Beacons. With the weather being a bit dodgy all week we were very lucky when the sun came out which meant a beautiful day in the welsh valleys. Laura got ready in the bridal suite whilst Jonny and the boys crammed into a smaller room and helped each other spruce up. There was even a bit of man love with some barber skills going on.
Everyone got they’re gladrags on and took a short walk down the lane to the quaint church to get married. When L & J came out of the church they were greeted by their Schnauzner Ralph who couldn’t wait to congratulate them. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, your dog should be included in your wedding as they are part of the family after all. Ralph got an afternoon walk back to Perterstone court where the guests enjoyed prosecco and were entertained by saxophonist Joe Northwood .
Whenever I shoot a wedding at a regular venue I alway try to find new locations for the couple pictures. This time the sun played ball and we captured beautiful golden hour portraits in the fields just a short walk from the hotel. This time away also allowed Jonny and Laura to have some quiet time together, ok I was there but that doesn’t count. We then headed back for the first dance which was performed by the Ninth Gate Band. This was another amazing Peterstone Court wedding and Jonny and Laura’s guests made me feel like part of the family.
